Second Phase of Shopping Center Revitilization
Having recently completed a new 36,000 s/f building to house
a CVS Drug Store and Healthworks Fitness Center, Gravestar, owner
of the Porter Square Shopping Center has renovated the adjacent
retail plaza. Located on Mass. Ave. on the Cambridge/Somerville
town line, the 39 year old shopping plaza is now totally revamped.
Elaine Construction of Newton was the project's construction
manager. Other major contributors to the project include architects,
Arrowstreet, providing design services; Leff Consulting Group,
a Boston-based real estate development concern providing strategic
planning and project management expertise; and Croxton Collaborative,
providing sustainable design consulting.
